We could not have wished for a better day! The sun shone, it was the perfect temperature, and a good time was had by all. The whole reason for this fundraiser was to raise funds for our angels, and raise we did! The winner for the most collected pledges was everyone's favorite long-haired chihuahua, Montecristo Travels, with a whopping $2,050.00!
The grand total raised came in at over $14,000.00, which doubled last year's amount. We are simply amazed. This could not have been accomplished without our walkers, countless volunteers and vendors. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Our vendors were kept busy but happy. PhoDOGrapher, our official
photographer, was fluttering around capturing some adorable moments; Crazy Beautiful Collars displayed and sold their always popular and beautiful collars; Gibson’s Gallivants made up raffle baskets and had gently
used dog items for sale; Know Thy Dog educated people on first aid for their
canine friends; Canine Touch and Tell provided much needed massages to some happy pooches, Doodle Faces
painted fun on children’s faces, Caitie trimmed nails, and thanks to Dr. Michelle Herman from Bells Corners Animal Hospital, we were able to hold a microchip
clinic. All proceeds went to Hopeful Hearts for which we
are so, so appreciative.
